The Incredible Hulk

I went Saturday night to go see The Incredible Hulk with some neighborhood friends.  The movie actually attempts to pick up from the TV Series.  I believe they are trying to forget the movie that came out about 5 years ago with Eric Bana.  As hulk movies go this one was alright (not great like Iron Man).  Many special appearances such as oen of the Gracie Brothers (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), Bill Bixby (posthumous), Stan Lee, Lou Ferrigno and Tony Stark.

The largest failure was the relationship betweend Ed and Liv Tyler.  There was just not any chemistry between the two.  Her acting abilities are horrendous as usual.  They left many story lines open which is frustrating because we want a complete story when we go to a movie.

They hint at several military experiments which sets up future movies.  One important one is the Super Soldier serum used in WWII which of course is Captain America.  I also assume they hinted at a Weapon X storyline...Wolverine.

I would not pay more than $5 for this movie so try and see it on a matinee schedule.

this new Incredible Hulk is a lot more fun than the first one with Eric Bana; plus Ed Norton does his specialty -- the "split personality" role...

I thought it was pretty good. And they set up the Leader for a future movie. Plus he looked kinda crazy at the end. Possible villain for the upcoming Avengers movie?

I agree. (SPoiler) In the end it looked like he thinks he can control the beast within. He appears to have given up on getting rid of it and instead chooses to try and control it. This would coincide with the Ultimate Avengers cartoon where the Avengers have to stop the Hulk after he loses control again.
