Search Engine Optimization through Semantic tagging
I just discovered a new site called www.centiare.com. This site is only about 3 or 4 months old. It uses Wiki programming to create Directory pages (similar to wikipedia.org). The difference is this is more of a Directory of Businesses more than an encyclopedia. You ask yourself why should I bother? Well the pages use Semantic Tags which are text based codes that link to other pages. This increases your odds of being found by search engines thus pushing your page near the top of Google or other search tools.
I recommend this to anyone who has a company or if you are an egomaniac you can even create a personal directory about yourself.
I just finished my Centiare page and even created several other pages that are tagged to mine. For example I created Network Services, Network Support, Network Support Provider, Katy. TX, all these are tagged to me. Not only that, I added code to these other pages that list companies with these tags (of course I am the only company listed right now). I also added code to the Katy page to list any companies that tag the Katy Area.
Check it out. Go to www.centiare.com and just type in the search tool for Doxa. It takes about 2-3 weeks for the other search engines to catch you.

One day, no business will even think of NOT having a listing on Centiare. Thanks for this article, Doxa!
